Printing in the Cloud

Cloud computing, specifically on the desktop with Google Apps and the imminent arrival of the web version of Microsoft Office 2010 is creating a step change in the price point for Desktop services. However, the adoption of cloud computing presents completely new challenges to printing.

Whilst not scheduled to be available until Q4 2010 printing expert ThinPrint promises to remedy the problem, with a cloud printing solution.

ThinPrint are promising to relocate the complete printing system in the cloud, the end user acting as a facilitator for direct communication between applications and printers.
